Working with individuals, teams and organizations, using a mix of support and challenge, my goal is to help my clients become effective, confident and humane leaders in meeting the challenges of today’s complex world. I value working with individuals looking to up their game as leaders, create new chapters or reimagine career or life directions. I also enjoy working with teams and organizations who strive to build high-performing, supportive work cultures.
I bring the insights and learnings of more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning the corporate arena, the United Nations, higher education, and the nonprofit sector to my work as a leadership consultant and executive coach.
My clients include CEOs, senior leaders, PhDs, physicians, professors, experts and non-profit leaders. I also teach, mentor and coach young talent and emerging leaders.
At an organizational level, I have worked on programs to advance and leverage diversity and inclusion with corporate and global partners like Goldman Sachs, American Express, McKinsey, Accenture, and Pfizer. And I teach about these issues in the MBA program at New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Most recently I headed up the National Council for Research on Women, a network of over 100 research and policy centers, which produced landmark solutions-oriented research reports identifying what works but also what hinders women in reaching the top. This work, which has been featured in major media outlets like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, HuffPost and NPR, remains top of mind for me.
There are other drivers that support my enthusiasm for coaching and consulting … the satisfaction that comes from the wind in my ears when I stretch myself on challenging ski terrain, the delicious aromas that come from experimenting with a new recipe and then hanging out in my kitchen to share it with my family and close friends, the joy of painting in a beautiful landscape and from working with others to try to make a positive difference in the world. This is my personal lens … through which I want to help others find their satisfactions, purpose, and successes.
