
Understanding Emerging Leaders
Millennials bring many positives to organizations: a comfort working in teams, an openness to diverse coworkers, an activist orientation and eagerness to participate in many activities, and an ability to build networks and relationships. They seek challenges but also want respect, to be listened to and given feedback.
They also need to take stock of where they are in their professional growth cycles and determine when — and how — to take their next steps.
Supporting Emerging Leaders
Building on my teaching and coaching MBA students and mentoring non-profit and other emerging leaders, I work with:
- Organizations and companies to leverage the talent of millennials and integrate them into multigenerational teams
- Emerging leaders to help them discover the power they command to effect change. I provide them with tools to:

- Manage teams
- Chart career directions with intentionality
- Enlist allies and mentors
